Tamron is days away from officially expanding its E-Mount lens lineup, and we now have our first leaked images of the four lenses in question: the 70-180mm f/2.8, 20mm f/2.8, 24mm f/2.8 and 35mm f/2.8.
The photos were published by Sony Alpha Rumors who received them just a few hours ago, and as expected, they match the teasers that Tamron has been trickling out. They may even be screenshots of an official “reveal” video captured in the same style as the previous teasers:
As you can see from the video above, these lenses will join the current Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD and Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD, which were released earlier this year and have received glowing reviews thus far thanks to their killer combination of performance, size, and price point. We can only hope these next four lenses will deliver the same trifecta.
SAR has been told the announcement will take place on October 22nd, with the 24mm and 35mm lenses shipping first in 2019, and the 70-180 and 20mm lenses shipping sometime in 2020. Stick around though, because we should have official details early next week.
